This building at Paul Clairmont Street near Triemli is for me the most innovative piece of architecture of the last years in Zurich. The architects are Steib & Geschwentner.

Winter is harsh this year. Here a picture of my favorite panorama platform in Zurich, the "Karlsturm". I heard people saying they miss my blog. Sorry to hear that. The Mercer's 2009 Quality of Living survey of cities with the highest quality of life ranked Düsseldorf sixth worldwide and first in Germany. I spent a weekend there and agree: good infrastructure, a lot of parks, perfect for shopping, tons of restaurants, coffee shops and pubs, nice office buildings.

Sorry for the long break but in the past weeks I concentrated on nature photography and I don't want to overload this website with non people related photos. This senior citizen demonstrated his mono cycling skills at the wine festival in Höngg, a former village that is now part of Zurich.
